Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua ticket prices confirmed for December showdown

Tickets for Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua will go on sale this week with the prices for the cheapest tickets at the Principality Stadium revealed.

The giants of British boxing will finally meet in a fight that is over a decade in the making on 11 December in the Welsh capital.

More than 80,000 tickets will go on sale on Friday with an official press release confirming even the cheapest seats on offer will be priced at £75.

Further ticket prices have not been released but VIP seats are expected to cost over £1,000.

Tickets will will go on sale Friday 9 October, at 12:00 UK time via Ticketmaster.

Those in attendance will be in for a late night with ringwalks for the main event not expected to take place until 1am at the earliest to cater for an American audience with Netflix streaming the event.

A precedent for this was set nearly 20 years ago as Joe Calzaghe’s fight against Mikkel Kessler at the Principality Stadium in 2007 took place in the early hours of the morning.

I think that’s going to be decided by Netflix and Turki Al-Sheikh, it’s my understanding it will be around 1am, 1.30am, but again, if it creeps to 2am, I don’t know,’ Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said last month.

‘Friday night, perfect for people to get down there, travel after work, it’s quite unique because on a Saturday boxing would start around 4pm, 5pm, so you’re really looking at the boxing starting at 8pm or 9pm.

The Battle of Britain is expected to be a sell out event with both Joshua and Fury used to fighting in front of the biggest crowds.

Fury sold out Wembley for his WBC heavyweight title defence against Dillian Whyte in 2022, also fighting in front of huge stadium crowds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Arslanbek Makhmudov and Derek Chisora.

Joshua meanwhile fought at a sold-out Wembley in 2024 against Daniel Dubois, his third fight at the home of English football.

Joshua has previously fought twice at the Principality in 2017 and 2018, defending his world titles against Carlos Takam before adding another to his collection after beating Jospeh Parker.

Fury goes into the fight as favourite, and historical records from one sports betting site suggest ‘The Gypsy King’ has only ever been the underdog against Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015 and in his first bout against Deontay Wilder in 2018.
